Torrent Plant & Vehicle Hire have been providing reliable hire services to the Construction Industry in Malawi and in neighbouring African countries since 2010.

The Torrent Team consists of trained operators and skilled mechanics. We hire out a wide range of equipment including telehandlers, rollers and excavators. In 2013, we launched the first JCB 3DX Backhoe Loaders into Malawi. Our partnership with the UK’s largest privately owned manufacturing company JCB has become the backbone of both our success and our future growth plans.

Torrent Plant and Vehicle Hire are proud to be an affiliated business of the Beehive Centre for Social Enterprise – a non-profit Organization registered in Malawi. In what may well be a world-first for a Plant hire company our profits go towards funding childcare places at the Beehive Mother Teresa Children’s Centre.
